mascara
dude. asked:

I have really short lashes and i was wondering if anyone knew what is the best kind of mascara under $10 that leghtens, volumizes, and etc. to give a dramatic look. It doesn't have to be super expensive from estee lauder or anything. I just want something that really works. Thanks!

It's either Cover Girl or Revlon, I don't remember which, but it's called XXL. It's in a white tube with black print, and there's a blue lid on one end. On one side, there's the white powdery micro-fiber stuff, and the color on the other. When I want my eyes to look HUGE, that's the one I use. For extra-EXTRA length & volume, double-coat. Use step 1 & give it a couple minutes to dry, then do it again, let it dry, and apply mascara. Two coats there, too.

I like the volumizing mascara from Sephora, and it's ten bucks. Also, Stila's Major Lash, which is $9.50, is known as a triple action mascara - it lengthens, volumizes, and curls all at one time. More than anything, concentrate on your application.

Start by applying mascara to the top side of your eyelashes, starting at the base, and using a twirling motion (kind of like winding a watch) to grip the lashes with the brush, twirling up and out with your hand. This will curl the lash, give the best coat, and add maximum volume by spreading the lashes apart. Next, apply your mascara to the underside of your lashes like you usually do. For added dimension, apply a second coat to the lashes, after the first coat dries. Then, to really shape the eye, add a third coat of mascara to the lashes at the outer corner of the eye. Now THOSE are some lashes!

got to agree with Chrissy! Lancome…High Definition Mascara. While you are at it, try other Lancome cosmetics, too. Their entire line of make-up and perfume is awesome!

My favorite for length and volume on a budget is Lash Out by L'Oreal.

Extreme Volume Mascara by Avon. waterproof, and boy, does it volumize, making your eyes look wide open! less than $5.

27 stars is right the "queen latifa one" is cover girl exact-lash. it works like a dream, but for eye popping length and volume use covergirl's volumizing mascara before the exact-lash. exact-lash is about $6.00 and the other is about $4.00.

Well if you really want your eyes to look more open use the trick my make-up lady at MAC taught me.

Always apply mascara to both sides of your lashes. I mean when applying it to your top lashes apply to the back of your lashes first and then the front, and then just apply it to the front of your bottom lashes.

The best Mascara out there after 20 years of testing is:

Loreal makes the best mascara!
my favs are Loreal Artitech
Loreal Volume both in waterproof Black (waterproof gives the best lift and stay no smudging whatsoever)
