i personally think it looks better to wear mascara top && bottom — eyeliner or not

It’s not trashy…trust me. If it was, my mother wouldn’t do it at the age of 45. lol. I do it, she does it, everyone I know does it. I also wear eyeliner a lot too. Don’t worry.

I do not wear makeup on a daily basis, but when i do wear eye makeup I wear eyeliner and I use mascara on both bottom and top lashes but I make sure there is no clumps. i don’t think it looks trashy I just think it enhances your eyelashes.

Wearing mascara on your bottom lashes is NOT trashy. Seriously. However, you have to be careful with the eyeliner. Here is what to do. Wear eyeliner on the top… then on the bottom.. just line the outside half of your eye with eyeliner. (Very lightly) Then do two coats of mascara on top and bottom. That should be good. Good Luck
Movie Stars wear mascara on there bottom lashes and they look good. There is nothing trashy with it.

Putting mascara only on the top lashes opens your eye up, while putting it TASTEFULLY on the bottom lashes give you a more “doll” look.
Yes, it looks trashy if you pile it on and it looks really chunky, but from what I’ve read, it doesn’t sound like you do that.
It depends if you’ve been wearing eyeliner on your bottom lashes or it only lines your eye lid on top. If it only lines your eyelids on top, then it would be safe to say that if you gradually wound down the amount of eyeliner you put on, and then just used eyeliner.

YUPP!! u can get away with a little eyeliner on the bottom and everythin but mascara looks like white trash very much so on the bottom lashes. when u put it on the top lashes and blink a couple times it goes on the bottom alittle anyways and looks fine. =]

No, but if you do it wrong you’ll get less of a doll-look and more of a ohmygosh-I-accidentally-put-way-too-much-mascara-on-my-lower-lashes look. Use it sparingly. Too little is better than too much.
And to your second question, yes, it probably would. Many girls overuse eyeliner to make their eyes stand out but dark eyeliner actually makes eyes look smaller. For added drama, use a lash curler.

I don’t think it’s trashy… when I wear it, it smudges on my skin, though, so I don’t.
My eye make up is concealer, top and bottom black liner like ON my lashes, metallic silver liner over and under my lashes, and mascara on my top lashes.
I have no idea if I’m helping or not. I’m tired. I’m going to bed in a minute!
Ok, so here is my advice…I would personally ditch the mascara on the bottom! It will put the scara in mascara!!!! lol sorry about that! Anyway what I was saying, just keep going with the eyeliner. and if you need extra color to your bottom eyelashes just swip them with your eyeliner. But in the end it looks kind of frumpy when you use mascara on the bottom! Good luck!
I’ve tried wearing mascara on my bottom lashes and it looks hideous. Maybe on models it would look better because they use heavy stage makeup and so light in color that it covers fully dark circles and any sign of starts of dark circles. But for normal everyday wear for a young person it looks bad, looks like a hooker. Even eyeliner on the bottom lashes is too much for a young person, it gives you raccoon eyes. It’s like all you see is a set of raccoon dark eyes coming at you instead of a pretty face.

Be careful not to wear too much black eyeliner if you’re wearing black mascara. Wear different color eyeliner depending on what your eye color is: Use slate, blue, grey and plum eye shadows for brown eyes; pink, salmon, mauve and brownish pink for green eyes; and brown, camel and taupe shades for blue eyes.
lol i wear it top and bottom.. it makes my eyes stand out more.. and when its on the bottom i usually dont have to wear eye liner really bc it already stands out.. i’ve heard you are not suppose to.. not for any reason i dont think that could harm you just because it was made for the top but w.e i use it for the bottom to lol

if you put it on your bottom lashes lightly, it can look okay.
i personally have found my eyes to look a lot more shapely and beautiful with maskera just on top, but occasionally i do on bottom and it looks fine. it CAN look very trashy so be careful. if you wear no eyeliner but still wear mascara on the bottom lashes, it will most likely look pretty trashy.

GOOD QUESTION! ok well, it dep. on what type of mascara u use and how much you use of it. if your going to put bottom lashes than you need to wear some sort of eye- shadow underneath it. it doesnt have to be too much, but minimum, so that you dont look like some sort of Betty Boop. umm.. it also dep. on the occasion, and wear your going everyday to a casual place then no. also, it dep. on how big you eyelashes are.umm, just where minimum eyeliner if your putting on bottom lashes, or none at all, with a nice neutral, or whatever eyeshadow. or just eyeliner, and no bottom lash mascara.

Mascara can be worn on the upper and lower lashes, especially at night, you can wear only upper lash mascara during the daytime especially if you are wearing rose tone eye shadow or blush, the rose colors make the lower lashes look like they are protruding and it is not flattering, you may substitute light brown eye pencil as close to your lower lashes instead of mascara, it works for me! When applying mascara to the lower lashes make sure you wipe the wand so it can be clean, the accumulation of mascara on the wand will give you that trashy look which you do not want, also wait a minute till it dries before applying more, it will become bulky if you don’t. Mascara is always fashionable try different brands till you find one you like.

I think a more natural look is prettier and so i think you should:
1. Wear mascara on your top lashes only.
2. Draw a thin line with eyeliner just above your top lashline.
3. Line your bottom inner rims with eyeliner.
