a little trick is keep some Q tips and lotion in your purse. Put a tiny bit of lotion or moisturizer on underneath your eye and then wipe away with a Q tip. and No more racoon eyes!

Get TONY LLAMAS lash masque. It's good for brows and lashes and it's a dye made from walnuts, not a mascara, so there is no clumping or smudging> You can even put it on at night to darken your lashes as you sleep!

Top 3 Smudge Proof Mascaras

These are all great mascaras that can be purchased almost anywhere - Walmart, Target, grocery stores, most drug stores. They are all at least smudge-proof. I have included one that is also waterproof. They are all under $15 and I have listed them from cheapest to most expensive. Hope one is the perfect match for you!

Clinique Naturally Glossy Mascara $7.99 smudge proof, not waterproof, no clotting on lashes, each lash is nicely defined, easy to apply, great applicator wand, comes in 6 different colors

Cover Girl Professional Waterproof Mascara $9.99 smudge proof, water proof, flake proof, tear proof, nice applicator, comes in 3 colors, one con - can be difficult to remove - must use a quality make-up remover

Max Factor Lash Lift Mascara $12.99 smudge proof, excellent wand, really lifts lashes for a wide eyed look, comes in 3 colors, weightless mascara doesn't feel heavy even with multiple coats

Try using a really good waterproof mascara. I like Mary Kay's MK Signature Waterproof Mascara ($10). It's triathalon-tested to be tear-proof, pool-proof, humidity-proof, and saltwater-proof.

I use a waterproof eyeliner and mascara and I don't have your problem. I got this great gel eyeliner from a hair show and my mascara is from Avon, but you can probably try Almay mascara.

I have all ways had the same problem. The best mascara I have ever found is called KissMe Mascara. It is fully waterproof. It wont come off with makeup remover or if you go swimming. The only way you can take it off is to splash it with a lot of warm water and gently pull it off of your lashes. It is the weirdest thing. It comes off in little plastic tubes, and it wont pull your lashes off with it. I find though that it is a little thin, so I use the primer too. Go to
