How do you get rid of an eyelash poking you in the eye?

If you can see it easily, reach it easily, and have a steady hand, you can pluck it with tweezers. If you don’t feel comfortable doing so (as you could potentially do yourself harm) ask your eye doctor to remove it for you. The lashes generally grow back every 3 months or so. I have patients come in 3 or 4 times a year for me to remove them. The formal name for this is trichiasis.

if you can clearly, and safely, see it you can pluck it yourself with a pair of tweezers and a steady hand. If you don’t feel comfortable doing that, you can always have your eye doctor pull it for you.

Use an eyelash curler to get the bent eyelash. Good Luck!!
