I have noticed that my mascara tends to "bleed" below my eyes during the day. This is even when I make sure to let them dry by not blinking after applying, clearing up any severe clumps, etc.

So far I find that rolling my wand while applying the mascara seems to help avoid clumps and distributes the mascara more evenly. I've also used a cotton swab to lightly dab at my eyelashes. Any other tips?
